Pet Peeve - Teacher Style
When students are already behind in class (from suspensions no less in today’s case), their parents decide that they’re going on vacation and missing all of the next week of school, and I have to pull together material that is independent work friendly while teaching them the new skills we’ll do next week when I know there’s a 90% chance that none of it will get done while they are gone.
Agreed. Or, as I’ve had happen in past experience — the work gets done, but all in the parents’ handwriting.
