P.S. 22 Chorus sings “We Are Young” by Fun.
I’m not musically inclined, nor really much of an artist. But if I ever doubted the importance of the Arts in schools, all I would need to do is watch one of P.S. 22 Chorus’ videos. Year after year, Mr. B. creates a musical family with these kids, and each year he gets a new batch, and manages the same level of success or greater. I believe these kids gain SO much from a program like this, particularly self-confidence, hope for their dreams, work-ethic, and teamwork.
I adore Mr. B., and wish we could be Teacher bffs. If I had any talent musically, I’d push for something like this to be started in every school I worked at.
