Dear New Teachers,
I highly suggest, if you haven’t already started work yet, to use the week before work starts (or at least the week before kids) to cook some yummy/healthy meals you can freeze in individual servings. I know many first year teachers (and second and third and so on) who don’t eat well some nights due to staying at work late or other school functions. I like to make a bunch of meals and freeze them in the week leading up to school. Then I cook 2-3 times a month on a weekend to replace meals I’ve eaten on the week days. It is a lot easier to reheat something than start from the beginning.
