As a former charter school teacher (although not personally fond of how they are run in Ohio), I can appreciate recognition for the hard work that the TEACHERS in these schools do. However, with it being National Teacher Appreciation week, maybe this was a) the wrong time to do it or b) maybe shouldn’t have been done at all in order to present education as a united effort.
Is anyone aware of a National Public (non-charter) School Week?
