This outstanding introductory tutorial to LiveBinders was created specifically for Tumblr’s educational community by Tumblr Blogger kbkonnected.

Karen B., the writer behind kbkonnected, teaches art, reading and writing in the Chicago Public School system. She’s been teaching at her school since 1987. She loves her job (and the students she teaches!), and is excited to learn and share 21st century literacy and creativity skills with all of you, as well as her students.

When Team Teachers first began, we asked Kbkonnected to do a post on livebinders.  I still love this tool, and thought it was time to do a reblog of it for people missed it the first round.

Don’t forget that Team Teachers takes submissions, so if you have a little niche you’re an expert on please feel free to contact us.

Thanks again to Kbconnected!

I am so excited that Karen made this post.  Live Binders is going to be my summer project.  I will have an arsenal of resources to enter my 7th year of teaching, and it will also be organized!  I can figure things out pretty easily, but after seeing this video I know it will be smooth sailing.  I won’t have to waste time figuring it out, and can just get right on it.
